I have 4 checks I paid out to an old employee that is not showing up in my bank statement but is in quick books. QB won't allow me to delete them how do I fix it?

It's nice to have you here on the Community page, @jwhitley527.

Allow me to share some information about managing paychecks in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you've recorded the transactions in QuickBooks but didn't hand-over the checks or paid the amount to your employee, then it's the reason why they're not showing up on your bank statements. To remove the checks from QuickBooks, you can either delete or void them

However, you need to have an active subscription to perform the process. If you have QuickBooks Online Payroll Enhanced you will only be able to resubscribe to Core, Premium, or Elite Payroll.

  1. In your QuickBooks Online company, go to the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Click on Billing & Subscription.
  3. In the Payroll section, select Resubscribe.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete your payroll renewal.

For additional tips about payroll and year-end forms in QBO, I recommend opening these links:
