I don't see where this question was answered. How do we accept fleet cards from our customer?
Hey there, @CSCsd.
Thanks for following the thread. I'm happy to lend a hand with accepting fleet credit cards from your customers.
If you already sent a customer an invoice in QuickBooks Online, they can pay for it online from the email you sent them. Or you can process payments for open invoices in-person by using the Go payment app. I've included some steps below to use our Go payment app.
Please know if you don't have a card reader, you can click on Key in card and enter the info manually. Then tap on Charge.
You can see additional details in Process payments in the Go payment app.
Furthermore, you can learn more about accepting credit card payments in Take and process payments using QuickBooks Payments.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this process. I'm happy to help you out. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
Does this method work for all fleet cards?
Thanks for chiming in on the thread, @Mobiledudellc.
Let me share some information about accepting fleet cards from your customers.
QuickBooks Online accepts major credit cards but doesn't have specifics for others. You can enter your card information in and see if it would process.
With QuickBooks Payments, you can attach a "Pay Now" button to online invoices. Customers can pay through the button by credit, debit, Apple Pay, or ACH bank transfers.
Furthermore, you can read about processing payments using QuickBooks Payments to learn how to accept electronic payments for online invoices.
I’ve included these resources so you can take a look at the processing fee and check when the payments show up in your bank account:
