The reasons behind the ‘QuickBooks Desktop Email Invoices Cannot Be Sent’ problem are as follows:
If the user has selected an invalid email service provider within Quickbooks settings on the computer, this issue shall arise.
Operating quickbooks with admin rights on the system will also prevent the user from sending email invoices to customers.
Solution :
Set ‘Microsoft Outlook’ as the primary email service inside the appropriate QB application settings
Proceed forward to choose the ‘Edit’ menu on the QB application window & easily strike the ‘Preferences’ tab under the same menu on the system.
At this step, promptly access the ‘Send Forms’ icon detailed under the ‘Edit’ menu, following which you shall have to strike the ‘My Preferences’ tab on the screen.
Next, immediately select ‘Microsoft Outlook’ as the primary email service provider within the ‘My Preferences’ tab and efficiently tap the ‘OK’ button to save the revised settings.
Finally, you can effortlessly utilize QB Desktop to send all the required invoices & business statements to your clients.

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) says you’re "signed out" indicates that your current session has ended. I recommend logging out and then logging back in to access your account and resending the invoice.
If you've signed in again and still can't send the invoice, let's access your QBSE through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue caused by numerous cached files.
You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:
Once you've launched a new private browsing session, access your QBSE account and verify if you can send the invoice successfully. If you can, proceed to clear your browser's cache to help the program run smoothly. You can also use other devices and supported browsers as alternatives.
Furthermore, I've included articles to learn about Schedule C categories and categorizing transactions in QBSE:
I'll be available on this thread to assist you with sending invoices, answering inquiries about your data in QBSE, or other issues. Your satisfaction is important to us, and I'm dedicated to providing the best support for your business needs.
