You can delete those payments to unlink them from your invoice transactions. I'll guide you how.

You can also process your customer's invoices and payments online using QuickBooks Payments. To know more about this feature, you can open this article: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online.

I marked an invoice paid when it has not been paid. In your explanation step 4 you said from the "receive Payment Window" but you did not explain how to see that window. When I click on the sale from the all sales, I just get the invoice # in the upper left corner, not what you show. How do I get to that screen with Receive Payment up there on an invoice that is already shown as paid?
Hello there, Dcassels13.
Let me share additional information regarding undoing the invoice as unpaid again.
You can follow these steps:
The payment will show as unapplied where you can use it to pay the customer's future invoices. If you want to delete the payment instead, just click the More menu at the bottom of the Receive Payment page and then Delete.

Does this delete the whole invoice?
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, @JackieB811.
I'd love to help you achieve your goal, but would you mind telling me more about your question? Do you want to undo an invoice that has been unintentionally marked as paid? Or do you want to reverse the payment from an incorrect invoice? I'd appreciate any additional details that you can provide so I can help you out.
In the meantime, I want you to make the most of QuickBooks for your company. You can read some articles that will assist you in learning how to use the software: QuickBooks help articles page.
I'd appreciate it if you could provide more details about your concern. We look forward to it.
