Hello there, @marjorierubin.
I've further checked here, and we currently have an ongoing investigation (INV-45931) about trying to update billing info but the changes don't save. Rest assured that our engineers are working on it to identify the cause of this issue and also to provide a solution.
As of the moment, you can perform some troubleshooting steps to check if its some browsing related concern.
To start, log in to your QuickBooks account using an incognito window since this mode blocks browsing history from being stored. Then you can clear cache and cookies to boost browser-related issues. By doing this, it helps deletes any necessary content stored and enables its browser to function more efficiently.
These are the keyboard shortcuts you can use for private window:
- For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- For Internet Explorer or Firefox, hit Ctrl + Shift + P.
- For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.
After doing the steps above and still get the same error, I suggest reaching out to our support team. In this way, you will be listed as an affected customer and get notified via email once it will be fixed.
To help you with making changes to your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription, you can check out to this article for the details: Update your QuickBooks Self-Employed billing and subscription details.
