Just to confirm, are you trying to prepare 1099s in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, the QuickBooks 1099 Wizard is only available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Since you're using QBO, I can walk you through on how to prepare and file 1099s. Here's how:
1. Go to Expense menu on the left pane. 2. Click the Vendors tab. 3. Select Prepare 1099s, then follow the screen instructions to finish. 4. If you'd like to print your 1099s, choose the Print and mail option.
