Thanks for the suggestion. I had already thought of and tried clearing cache. Tried again unsuccessfully.
As you suggested I just tried incognito mode in Chrome and also tried Microsoft Edge on Dell desktop. Also tried Chrome on Samsung notebook.
Next step is to install Firefox I guess or reboot computer desktop in Linux.

There are few things that we'll need to check to verify why you're unable to delete the date on the service description section. First, make sure that the date option on the template that you're using is unchecked.

That did it. Not sure why date was showing on the custom and not the standard I've been using.
