I need to change my business phone number on my invoices. When I go into edit the phone number and hit SAVE it doesn't save the number the old number is still on the invoice. What am I doing wrong?

It's nice to see you here! Let me assist you in updating the phone number.

 

The most possible reason why it's not saving is because of a browser error. We can troubleshoot it so we can fix this issue. 

 

Let's start by using an incognito window and update the phone number from there. You can also clear the cache. Too much cache can cause the browser to behave differently.

i need to update my banking account information and business address and it wont let me since i have to verify identity by phone number listed on her but that number is no longer in service. please help!

I want to ensure you can update the bank account, Gto construction.

 

I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support so an agent can help you with updating the information. Here's how:

  1. Click Assistant.
  2. Enter "I need a human" twice in the Type something field.
  3. Click I still need a human.
  4. Select either Message an agent or Get a callback.

Once it's updated, you can already categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
