I need to delete a company. How do I do that?

QuickBooks Solopreneur is not working after I set up a company. I set up my company using another QB product. I want to delete the first company in Solopreneur. How do I do that?

As of now, the option to delete a Solopreneur file in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is not available. If you need to make changes or adjustments, it's recommended to edit the information within the existing file.

 

Since the Solopreneur version is still in beta and has been rolled out to a limited number of customers, certain features, including file deletion, may not be fully developed yet.

I need to delete a company. How do I do that?

Thank you for the answer. Knowing that the Solopreneur product is still in Beta and does not have full functionality is helpful. the lack of full functionality prevented me for continuing to use that product, so I set up my company through my account using a different QB product. I eventually want to delete the company in Solopreneur to prevent confusion in the future.

As of the moment, Solopreneur is still in beta. What we can do is to contact our technical support team, for they have the necessary tools to delete the first company you created. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help (?) menu, then click Contact Us.
  2. Enter a brief description of your concern and select Continue.
  3. Click Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a call back from the next available expert.
