I need to know how to access the Message on Invoice box on Invoices. There are no way of searching for items written on the box.

I'm here to give some insights about accessing the notes from the Message on invoice section of your invoice transaction in QuickBooks Online.

At this time, being able to search for the messages that are included on the invoice from the Sales tab isn't available. You can only look for a specific fields that are used on the transaction such as, Amount, Customers, Custom Field, Due Date, and etc.

However, you have the option to pull up a report where you can see all the messages that were written on the invoice. Running the Invoice List report will allow you to generate customer communications details.

To do that:

1. Click on Reports at the left pane.
2. Look for Invoice List.
3. Select the Date Range of the report.
4. Tab on the Gear icon at the upper left portion of the report.
5. Hit on Show More under Change Columns.
6. Put a check mark for the Customer/Vendor Message box. 
7. Press on Run report.

From there, you'll be able to see the messages that you've added on the sales transaction.
