I need to make estimates and change orders on my QuickBooks self employed. Please.

Hi there, jefferson.

To make estimates and change orders, you can consider upgrading your plan. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Upgrade.
  2. You'll see a list of all the different plans QuickBooks has and descriptions of each plan.
  3. Find the one that suits your needs and select Choose plan.
  4. Read through what is changing with your new plan and select Sounds good when you're ready to continue.
  5. Then follow on-screen instructions.

For more detailed instructions, feel free to check out this article: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.

If you're having some challenges upgrading your plan, we can do some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.

To begin, please open an incognito window on your QuickBooks Online account. Depending on your browser type, you may refer to the keyboard shortcuts provided below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

When this works, you may proceed to clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored cache to ensure the program performs efficiently. I recommend using another supported browser or device if you still encounter the same challenges.

In addition, you can check this article to learn how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have further questions about sales forms or any QuickBooks-related concerns. I'm always here to help.
