I received an incentive check from a vendor after referring a client to them. How do I enter the check in Quickbooks?

I do not owe this vendor any money.

Hello,

 

You can just enter it as a DEPOSIT from the vendor.  Offset some kind of "Referral Income" account that you can create.

I have the same question, but please be specific as to what referral income account I should create? I am very new to QB
