I know another report you can pull up to view your mileage data in QuickBooks Online, @comix4sale
The Profit and Loss report will only show the income and expenses of your company. That's why the business mileage you entered didn't show up on the said report
I suggest going to the Mileage page, and then clicking on the Download Trip button from the Trips drop-down. This will help you access your mileage report.

Isn't a mileage expense part of my company's P&L? Why must I do a manual entry to show my true profits when the system should use WHAT I HAVE ALREADY ENTERED?
Hello, @comix4sale.
The mileage tracking feature in QuickBooks Online is for recording purposes since mileage is not an expense in accounting. It is a tax time deduction you can take when you don't take the actual expenditures operating a company vehicle.
This won't show on the Profit and Loss report unless you manually tracked the mileage. You can reference this article for the detailed steps: Track mileage and vehicle expenses in QuickBooks Online. If you want your mileage entered automatically, ensure to setup mileage tracking and vehicles in QuickBooks Online.
On the other hand, the mileage report can be pulled up by clicking on the Download Trip button from the Trips page. This will open a report in Excel file that shows all the trips that you've entered.

May I suggest an enhancement option to allow the user to include each trip entered as a mileage expense transaction impacting P&L, or generate a tax report that does this. Making this tool more automated for users will certainly be appreciated. The software that I had to migrate from included this feature.
