I'm here to provide clarification by customizing your Customer Icon Bar with a bank account.
You can do tasks easier and faster when you customize your QuickBooks Icon Bar. By clicking the Customize Shortcuts option, you can choose those shortcuts as well as many others.
Here's how to customize your Icon bar:
Once you've completed those steps, you'll find the Bank Feeds shortcut will be on the left menu.

I am trying to add the merchant service center and the merchant bank deposit windows to my top icon bar- the area that says "add to icon bar" is grayed out? Any ideas? They are not choices in the customize window..

Let's make sure that you already set-up your merchant account.
Then, if you're still having the same issue. I suggest updating QBDT to the latest release. QuickBooks provides maintenance release and product updates to fix known issues, add features and enhancements, as well as update compliance information.
To manually update:
Once done, close and reopen QBDT. To install the updates, select Yes. You can now restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
