This could be a browser related issue. Stored cache can cause unexpected behavior in your browsers. To isolate this, you can open your browser's private window.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:
If it works, you can proceed with clearing the cache. Otherwise, open a different browser that’s available.
If the issue persists, you can check this article for a list of compatible browsers while using QuickBooks Online.

I am also having this issue. I tried the private browser option in FireFox, regular in FireFox and in Edge and I am still getting this error.
