If I connect my website to QB, how does QB connect the items? Does the name have to be exactly the same or does it need a number?

When linking your website with QuickBooks Online, the setting you choose will determine how the item connects. You'll have to create the exact item if you select manual. Additionally, we have a dedicated forum where we can help you connect your website.

To do this, you can either log in or create a new account by visiting our Intuit Developer's website. Then, submit or post your questions from there. Once done, someone from the developer's team will respond to any inquiry you may have.

If you are using an eCommerce platform (e.g Shopify), you can use a 3rd party connector to sync inventory data to QBO.

Do you need to reconcile payment from Square transactions or connect QBO to your Squarespace account?
