Glad to have you here in the Community, amenc. Let me share some details about the integration process of Shopify into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes, you can enable the option to create invoices in QBO each time you get an order in Shopify during the configuration process. However, the created invoices will not be sent automatically to your client. Thus, you'll need to manually send the generated invoices to your clients.

Simply select the When an order is created in Shopify2, create an Invoice in QuickBooks Online option during the configuration process.

Additionally, one of our most popular eCommerce integrations is Shopify. If you're encountering several known issues, the possible solutions are outlined here: Troubleshoot Shopify issues.

Please stay in touch if you have further questions or concerns about the Shopify and QBO integration. I'll be more than happy to help. Keep safe!

Hello,

Is this someting you do in Quickbooks or in Shopify?

What do you mean by Shopify2?

Thank you for following up with us, @accounting-amenc. I'm joining the thread to share more information about QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Shopify integration.

You can do it both ways. From Shopify, you can install a QuickBooks Connector app to connect the accounting system that you want to integrate. From QBO, you can manage or link an application by going to the Apps menu.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click on Apps, then Find apps.
  3. Look for the application you need.
  4. Follow the onscreen process to proceed.

Make sure to select the options you need during the configuration process. This way, your entries will be presented accordingly.

On the other hand, Shopify2 is an upgraded release on the Shopify platform. It helps store owners save time, enhance performance, and empower better content management. This version also offers more features than the previous one.

I'm just a few clicks away to help if you have follow-up questions about integrating apps with our system. Just leave a comment below. Have a good one!
