Is there any limit on how many records I can import in the IIF file? It will not move, no message error. I am breaking it and little by little it transfers. It would help If I knew what is the limit. Or is it another issue? QB Ent Desktop 2023. I upgraded from Ent 2007. There is few IIF changes that I think I managed, but this one is time consuming.
Thank you!
Yes, there's a limit on how many records you can import using the IIF file, Aga aga.
I'm glad to share some details about it. You can only import a certain number of records. To see the complete table, you can browse this link: Maximum number of list entries.
For transactions, like bills, there's no limit. However, we don't recommend importing more than 100 bills at any one time. The system will tell you how many lists are imported successfully.
Let me walk you through the steps about importing .IIF files.
You may also visit this article to download and install the .IIF format: IIF Overview: import kit, sample files, and headers. That way, you can save time and make it easier to enter the information directly into QuickBooks.

Thank you Mary, but your response is not answering my question. I know how to import file. My file is not a list, so that table is not useful. I am reporting over 1000 bill records, and it is not listed. I already looked into this before posting a question. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for getting back to me, Aga aga.
