In our Cash Flow Hub in QB Desktop Enterprise, it shows the error $NaN instead of the paid invoices total under the Money In section. Why isn't QB showing the amount of customer invoices paid for the period?

Hi there, mulliganspal1.

Let me get the help you need with the $NaN error you encounter with your paid invoices.

The error $NaN in the Cash Flow Hub of QB Desktop Enterprise indicates a problem with displaying the total amount of paid invoices under the Money In section. This issue may be occurring due to a technical error or a data inconsistency within the software.

To fix common issues within your company file, let's run the verify and rebuild tool. But before doing so, I suggest you start by updating QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help tab at the top.
  2. Select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Go to the Update Now tab.
  4. Select the updates you want to include.
  5. Put a checkmark on the box beside Reset Update.
  6. Click Get Updates.
  7. Close and re-open QuickBooks.

Once done, proceed with running the Verify Data and Verify Rebuild tools.

To run Verify Data:

  1. Go to the File tab at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Utilities.
  3. Choose Verify Data.

Next, please run the Rebuild Data option through these steps:

  1. Go to the File tab at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Utilities.
  3. Choose Verify Rebuild.

After following the suggested resolutions, please restart your QuickBooks and check your paid invoices.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and perform a screen-sharing session to help determine the root cause of the issue.

To reach them, here's how:

  1. On your QuickBooks account, go to the Help menu at the top.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help
  3. Choose Contact Us
  4. Enter the issue or topic in the field box.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions.
