Join nowI have an estimate with 4 linked progress Invoices showing an incorrect "Invoiced Subtotal" at the bottom of the estimate resulting in an incorrect remaining subtotal. All 4 invoices are "linked" to the estimate and recorded as paid. How do I fix the incorrect amount?
the 4 invoices shown as linked to estimate and paid do not add up to the Invoiced Subtotal - see pic
Hi there, @MONICA131.
Let me share some insights into how QuickBooks Online calculates the total when converting an estimate to an invoice.
One of the reasons why the invoice subtotal differs from the total is when the items are Taxable. To verify the issue, you can open the estimate and check if the Tax column has a checkmark.
For more details about converting an estimate into an invoice, check out this article: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

non of the lines are taxed and none of the lines are checked
I appreciate you for checking if the items were taxable, MONICA131.
It's odd that the estimate and the invoice have different sub-totals given the items have the same tax type.
To further check the cause of the issue, I'd suggest reaching out to our phone support team. One of the agents has the tools that can check your account. You can contact them through the ? Help icon.
Also, if you use QuickBooks Payments to process invoices, QuickBooks handle all the accounting for you. Here's an article for the details of the said feature: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.
I'm just around if you have concerns managing transactions.
