Inventory Report showing ONLY actual quantity on hand as of specific date

I need to run a report that shows only actual quantity on hand and DOES NOT use PO qty, pending build qty or sales order qty.

Every report I have tried running will show some convoluted qty on hand using some combination of the above.

In preferences I have turned off using pending builds and sales order for qty available but I find no preference settings for calculating quantity on hand.

The inventory adjust function won't work as the quantity shown to adjust in a bin location is based off of qty available :-(

Why can't quickbooks just have normal standard accounting and inventory reports?

This should not be so hard to run a report that only shows actual quantities on hand as of a specific date!!

We are going to do a full physical on June 25th and at this time I can find no way to run a report showing these quantities.

Here's how:

Select Reports and then Inventory.
To check your product’s value, select the Inventory Valuation Summary.
To check your product’s quantity, select the Inventory Stock Status by Item.

You may also check on how to adjust your inventory quantity or value in QuickBooks Desktop.

I have an item that both the inventory valuation and stock status both show the qty on hand as -39 as of 5/31/21

When I go to adjust the inventory the item shows 11 on hand which is the qty on a PO less the negative balance. How are you supposed to correct inventory balances when the adjust screen is using the qty on a PO as part of the qty on hand and available to adjust?

This makes zero sense and is causing a great deal of frustration with trying to clean up our inventory.

For now, QuickBooks will display or include items that are part of the PO quantity, pending build quantity, or sales order quantity when running an inventory report for available quantity on hand. I would suggest sending feedback or feature requests so our engineers can take a look at this for future updates.

Here's how:

Go to the Help menu.
Select Send Feedback Online, then click Product Suggestion.
Type in your feedback or feature request.
Click Send Feedback.
