Let me provide some information about printing an Inventory Transfer report, atoz800.
At the moment, the option to customize the columns in an Inventory Transfer report is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks will automatically shorten the item name in order to accommodate other columns. However, if you don't require the other columns, you can remove them by turning off bin location tracking. This will create more space for the item name. Just take note that despite having fewer columns, there is still a character limit.
Here's how to turn off bin location tracking:
- On the top menu, go to Edit.
- Select Preferences.
- Head to Items & Inventory.
- On the Company Preferences tab, click Advanced Inventory Settings.
- Tick off Track Bin Locations.
- Hit OK, and then OK.
I'll leave this article for more info on the Advanced Inventory feature in QuickBooks: Advanced Inventory.
