Invoicing transfer to bank

I have two ways how to transfer invoicing to your bank in QuickBooks Online, @desertbreezeland.

 

First, in receiving invoice payment, make sure to deposit the money in your bank instead of the Undeposited funds. This way, the amount will be transferred directly to your account. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks account, go to the + New button
  2. Choose Receive Payment.
  3. From the Customer dropdown, select the name of the customer.
  4. In the Payment method dropdown menu, click the payment method.
  5. From the Deposit to dropdown, choose your bank.
  6. In the Outstanding Transactions section, select the checkbox for the invoice your recording payment for.
  7. Fill in the Reference no. and Memo if needed. 
  8. Once done, click Save and new.

Otherwise, you can process a bank deposit as another step to transfer the funds to your account. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Select the + New button.
  2. Choose Bank Deposit.
  3. From the Account ▼ dropdown, select the bank you want to put the money into.
  4. Select the checkbox for the transaction.
  5. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. 
  6. Once done click Save and close or Save and new.

In case you'll want to use QuickBooks Payments, please refer to this link so your customers can pay their invoices directly by credit card or ACH transfer. When you get paid, QuickBooks puts transactions into the correct accounts.
