As per checking here on my end, we haven’t received a similar issue about being unable to create invoices and go through QuickBooks Online (QBO).
When invoicing to your customers have you encountered any errors?
In the meantime, we can perform some basic troubleshooting steps. A stored cache can cause unexpected behavior while using the application. We can use a private browser to open your account and see if you can create an invoice or access your QBO account.
It doesn’t use the cache, which stores data that creates browser-related issues.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:
If it works, kindly proceed with clearing your cache. It helps improve the performance of the application. Then, if the issue persists, you can refer to this article for other supported browsers while using QBO.
In addition, when you’re able to create an invoice, you can refer then to this article on how to record payment: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online

I can type up the invoice. The problem is that Intuit has a problem with the items being emailed out. It has been happening for over a week. I have to save each invoice to a PDF, go into my regular email and attach the invoice to a letter indicating that QB Online isn't working properly. It has tripled my work load. When I called to ask about the case # I received no answers or help.
Your specialist took over the remote and walked me through all of those steps. It did nothing. Upon further questioning, he found that there was indeed an issue reported and I was being added to the group of customers not able to invoice my customers via email. This was reported over a week ago. I have not been able to do it since.
Hi there, concrate1.
The issue is still in progress and our Product Team is working on it to find the root cause of why invoices aren't sent to customers. Since your company is already added to the case, you'll receive updates via email once it's fixed.
For now, you can keep saving invoices in PDF and mail them outside of QuickBooks. Then, record the payment to ensure your books have accurate records.
You can browse this article as a guide to recording payments: Learn how to receive and record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
Don't hesitate to post again if you have other QuickBooks concerns. I'm always around to provide steps and articles.
