Is it possible to bulk delete journal entries in quickbooks?

I used a service called A2X to import mappings into QBO for sales. Several hundred duplicate journal entries need to be deleted.

Is it possible to bulk delete journal entries in quickbooks?

I can see how convenient to have the ability to delete journal entries in batches, hustlepreneur-sa, especially if you're managing a lot of transactions.

Unfortunately, this functionality isn't available in QuickBooks Online at the moment. In general, small changes to the JE can unbalance certain accounts in your books. To minimize the impact, the program only allows you to remove one entry at a time.

Please know that we're constantly rolling out software updates based on the suggestions we received from our customers. That said, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Development to help improve your user experience. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  3. Choose Feedback, then enter your comments.
  4. When you're done, hit Next to submit your inputs.

In the meantime, you'll want to consider visiting our market or head to the Apps menu to search for a third-party deleter that can eliminate all the duplicates at once.

  1. Select Apps from the sidebar menu.
  2. Click the Find Apps tab.
  3. Enter a keyword in the search bar or select Browse category to filter the results.

In case you'll want to allocate a transaction between two accounting periods or fix a debit and credit error, feel free to follow the steps listed in this article: Reverse journal entry.
