Yes, it is possible to customize the P&L statement in QuickBooks Online to include only the accounts you want to appear, even if they have a zero balance. Here are the steps to customize your P&L statement:
Log in to your QuickBooks Online account and go to the Reports section.
Find the Profit and Loss report and click on it.
On the right-hand side of the report, click on the Customize button.
You can now choose the accounts you want to include on the report by clicking on the Rows/Columns section.
In the Rows/Columns section, click on the Accounts drop-down menu and select the accounts you want to include on the report.
If there are accounts with zero balances that you want to include on the report, make sure the Include Zero Amounts option is checked.
Once you have selected the accounts you want to include, click on the Run Report button.
Your customized Profit and Loss report will now be generated with only the accounts you have selected.
I hope this helps.
