Is there a confirmation for online bill pay?

When I use the new online banking function to pay bills through QB, how do I know it went thru?

I can show you how to access and track your payments, @njwaterscapes.

You can use the Payment tracker to check the status of your payments. You can go to the Expenses tab to check the status:

  1. Go to the Expenses tab from the left menu.
  2. Select a payment row to open the payment's details.
  3. Click See Confirmation.

For bank transfers:

  • Processed: The day we debit money from your bank account.
  • Sent: The date the bank transfer payment is sent to the vendor
  • Cleared: The date the bank transfer payment appears in the vendor’s bank account.

Also, you can check on the following article to find answers to frequently asked questions about Online Bill Pay: What is Online Bill Pay?

Is there a confirmation for online bill pay?

Hello - I have been receiving immediate email confirmations for every online bill payment I make, but today I processed 3 payments and have yet to receive an email for any of them and it's been over an hour.   Has something changed regarding this service?

Thanks for following this thread, @KBurden. We don't receive any changes in the Online bill pay service.

I know how important it is to ensure that our payment did go through. We can open your email and check your Spam or Junk folder if it's there so you can move it to your Inbox

Otherwise, check your contact list and ensure that these following email domains are added:

  • BusinessServices@intuit.com
  • Payments@intuit.com
  • Notification@email.merchantcenter.intuit.com
  • PaymentNotification@email.paymentsolutions.intuit.com
  • ReplyTo@QBDT.intuit.com
  • do_not_reply@intuit.com
  • quickbooks@notification.intuit.com

Then, send an email to any of the email addresses. This will help your domain provider acknowledge it as a friendly contact.

If you're still unable to receive an email, seek assistance from your IT guy or domain provider to temporarily turn off Sender ID filtering. They can also help you check what’s causing you not to receive the email.

For additional guidance, refer to this help article: Unable to receive Intuit email.

Feel free to message again if you have additional questions. We're always here to help.
