Is there a way of importing a journal entry template into QuickBooks? I don't have an option for selecting Journal Entries under the "Import Data" option.

The following link explains how this can be done but I do not have this option: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/import-or-export-data-files/import-journal-entries...

It's nice to see you here in the Community, @zfurman-greenlig.

I'm here to provide some insights about how you can import journal entry templates in QuickBooks Online.

The option to import journal entries differs on the country/region of QuickBooks you're currently using. The instruction on the link you've added works for QBO UK versions.

For QuickBooks Online US users, you may consider utilizing a third-party importing tool. QBO integrates with a various app to help you run your business easier.

You can check for supported apps from the Apps menu or through this link: Find the right apps for your business.

On the other hand, you also have the option to enter your journal entries manually in the system. Here's a great reference that you can scan through about the complete details on this process together with understanding the debits and credits: Learn how to record journal entries in QuickBooks Online.

I'd be happy to assist you if you have more questions with importing entries or with QuickBooks. Just leave a reply below. Keep safe!

Utilize the trial version of an importer tool to do so.
