Is there a way to create a repair invoice under transactions?

If you'll edit/change the invoice details, you can open the invoice you wish to edit and make the necessary edits from there. Once done, the invoice will just show the balance due and the amount of payment made. 

To open the invoice:

1. Go to Sales at the left pane.
2. Select Invoices.
3. Select the invoice you wanted to edit.
4. Click the drop-down arrow under Action.
5. Select the View/Edit option.

If you want to view all the list of invoices, you can see all your invoices by pulling up a Transaction List by Customer report.

Here's how: 

1. Go Reports menu.
2. In the search bar to Find a report by name, type in Transaction List by Customer Report.
3. Select on Customize. In the Report period section, select the date of the invoice you want to see.
4. Select FilterPut a check-mark beside Transaction Type and select Invoice. Put a check-mark to A/R Paid.
5. Select the drop-down in Rows/Column and click on Change columns. Click on A/R Paid.
6. Select the Run Report.

Hi. Thank you for reply. To clarify. I have a repair shop and sell equipment. The managers for each store create invoices for repairs and when they sell equipment. When I go to quickbooks I like to be able to see how much money was made from repair invoices and from sales. Is there a way to create a repair invoice and create a invoice for equipment sales? So I can see if the repair shop is making money. Thank you

Thanks for the quick reply and clarifying your goal, @funatv.

Let's pull the Sales by Product/Service Detail Report in your QuickBooks Online Account. This report will show you the total sales of your repair shop. 

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Reports tab on the left side. 
2. Type Sales by Product/Service Detail Report in the search box. 
3. Hit the Customize button. 
4. Choose the exact Report period in the drop-down. 
5. In the Row/columns drop-down, pick Product/Services. 
6. Check-mark the appropriate choices. 
7. From the Product/Services box, select the Repair account.
8. Tap Run report. 

You can also click the Save customization report to memorize the report.  That way, it'll save time since it automatically updates every time there are newly added transactions. For more information, visit this article: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
