Hello there, @VALLEYWINDOW.
I've got some information to share regarding sending mass email to customers in QuickBooks Desktop.
If you're referring to sending customers transactions in batch, selecting all the forms that you want to send from the Send Forms window will do the trick.
However, if you mean to send a personal announcement to all your customers in QuickBooks Desktop, this option is currently unavailable. The system only allow you to send customer-related entries (invoice, sales receipt, statements).
To accomplish this goal, you'll need send the email outside QuickBooks and enter all your customer's email addresses as the recipients. You may follow the instructions given by my peer, Joesem M above on how to gather their email addresses from QBDT.
I can see how convenient it would be to send personal email to your customers straight from QuickBooks Desktop. I'll do my part and personally submit this preference to our developers, so this will be assessed and taken into consideration.
For now, I encourage you to visit our Firm of the Future site, to stay current with the latest product news and improvements. Lastly, I'm adding here some links about sending emails and fixing its issues for reference:

QuickBooks' stance on this is plainly pathetic. You have our entire client database and vendor database. Writing code to enable your customers to send simple mass emails is not difficult AT ALL and your failure to recognize the basic needs of your customers is a HUGE customer service flaw. My company needs to communicate an address change. We do not wish to passively address this with an address change on our forms. We want to send out a simple email to the primary contacts on our customer and vendor profiles already in QuickBooks.
You could have been a hero.
