The aging summary reports in QuickBooks gives you an overview of your customers' outstanding balances. It contains the names of those who are falling behind their payments, how much is still due, and how long they’re past due.
Currently, viewing the A/R Aging Summary report without the customers with credits isn't an option. However, you can manually remove those with negative balances by deselecting them on the list when customizing the report. Let me guide you how.
Once done customizing, I'd recommend memorizing the said report. This way, you'll be able to save its current customization settings. You can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, you can also pull up the Customer Balance Summary report. It'll also provide the details about how much each customer owes you. From the Reports menu, select the said report in the Who owes you section.
Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
That process will be too time consuming, since i have multiple customers with credits. This report could be generated on the desktop version, will it be something that will happen in QBO eventually? It doesn't seem to be that complicated a task. Thanks

There's no way in QuickBooks to see the accounts receivable only for customers who actually owe money? We have to go in and manually check each individual customer, and add them to a list, and run a report on that list? This seems like a pretty sloppy 'hack' to get around something that should be a simple and obvious feature already in QuickBooks.
