First off, I appreciate the amount of effort you've done, so far. As of the moment, the feature that you'd like to access here in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is currently unavailable. As a workaround, we can utilize the Search icon beside the Help icon to find that specific customer that you're looking. To start, these are the steps:
- On the upper portion of your QuickBooks Online screen, click the Magnifying glass icon or search icon beside the notification bell icon.
- Once done, click the Advance search below in that Search tab.
- Enter the Family name of the customer that you'd like to locate in your data.

I'd also recommend letting our Product Development Team know about this. They'll put your suggestion into consideration for future product update. You can click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Feedback.
