There are things you’ll have to check before importing your customer lists into QBO. The suggestions listed below ensure your customer lists are transferred correctly.
- The information in the Name field must be unique. A vendor, customer, or employee can't have the same name as one another.
- The import process only supports one email address. However, you can manually add another one in QBO.
- Subaccounts can't be imported.
- Spreadsheet doesn't contain any formulas, charts, or blank rows.

Also, pending transactions from the desktop version will not convert to QBO. You'll have to manually enter them and record the payments.
To correct the information on the Profit and Loss Report, I recommend you get in touch with our QBO Care Team for further assistance. They have tools to review the data in a secure space and fix the issue from there.
- Tap the Help icon at the top to open the QB Assistant window.
- Select how you want to reach out to our support team: Ask a question or Talk to a human.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
