Join nowHi,
I have the mobile app which auto track the miles driven. Is there a way I can enter a start and end odometer into the app.
Thank you
Hello,etaguba.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. You can add trips manually or edit the automatically tracking app. I'll show you how to do it.
For QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can follow these steps to manually track mileage:
On an iOS device (iPhone or iPad)
On an Android device (phone or tablet)
For more detailed steps, you can check out these articles:
However, If you're referring to QuickBooks Online, you can refer to this article for more detailed steps on how to track mileage in QuickBooks Online: Automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Online.
That's it! Let me know if you need further assistance with this.I'm just a post away. Stay safe!
Thank you for the reply. When I try to enter manually it's asking for the address to and from. I don't see anywhere I can add the start and end odometer I only see total miles or distance. Is that going to be okay?
Thanks for reaching out to the Community, etaguba.
You'll be able to enter all of your necessary trip details while going through the steps provided by AileneA. This info will be requested in step 3 if you're using an iOS device, or step 4 if it's an Android.
You can review the articles about tracking mileage in my colleague's post above for more information.
You'll also be able to find many detailed resources about using QuickBooks in our help article archives.
I'll be here to assist if there's any additional questions. Enjoy the rest of your day!
