My American Express credit card account has been linked twice caused double accounting fro expenses related that credit card. How to fix this.

I'm here to help you delete the duplicate transactions in your bank feeds, @raji1082-gmail-c.

You can exclude the transactions and delete them to completely remove them in the feeds, And lastly, you can disconnect the secondary credit card linked.

I'll show you how to exclude the transactions:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and select Banking.
  2. Locate the duplicate bank account that was linked and check the boxes in the Categorized transactions to Undo it.
  3. Select the For review tab and check the boxes beside the transactions to Exclude it.
  4. Once your done, go to the Excluded tab and check all the transactions and click Delete.

Lastly, you can refer to this article for the next steps on how to disconnect bank account from bank feeds: Disconnect or delete accounts connected to online banking.

For future reference, I've included this article you can check out when you're ready to do the monthly assessments to make your business forecast accurate: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks. This also contains steps on how to fix any reconciliation issues.

I'll be around if you need further assistance with the process of disconnecting your account. Feel free to let me know in the comment section below. Enjoy the rest of your day!
