Thanks Kristine that worked for me, however is there a way to get memo detail on already downloaded transactions? This stopped working a few months ago and I have no historical detail.
Thanks for joining us today, @srconnor.
Let me share some information about the memo detail in your bank transactions. Since QuickBooks bank data is dependent on what your bank has provided, you'll want to get in touch with your bank institution.
After contacting, you'll be able to re-download those transactions with no memo in it. This way, the memo details will also be saved in your bank register. Need more details about importing? Check this guide: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

My bank provides the vendor information in the description field of each expense transaction, and I can see that data when I open up a transaction. However, I would like to see that data on the "Expense Transaction" lister that is displayed when I look at all my expenses for the month. When I go to the Gear icon to add that field to the report, it is not there as an option.
What do I need to do to get that field added as an option for reporting?
Hi, @cjbsubsea.
You can open the Transaction List by Vendor report to get the information you need. I'll show you how.
From there, you'll be able to see the bank details under the Memo/Description field.
