My "Save and Close/Save and New" Button disappeared. I am trying to create a new deposit but my "save" button on the bottom right is not there.

My "Save and Close/Save and New" Button disappeared. I am trying to create a new deposit but my "save" button on the bottom right is not there.

I figured it out, my browser was not open to full screen even though it looked as though it was.  Once I put it in full screen, my buttons came back.

I'm glad that you've just figured it out, salson.

Usually, this is what most users encounter when they're unable to see the bottom part of the page. The zoom function settings can easily be activated to fix this issue.

I've included this article in case you'll experience this again: Unable To See The Entire Page In QuickBooks Online.

You'll want to run reports for specific accounts so you can track your deposits. Please read this article for your reference: Run Reports In QuickBooks Online.

Please comment below if you need further assistance. I'll always make sure to help you.

Why did they do this?  Just an irritation to use full zoom and then try and switch back and forth with other work in progress!

Because they can and we can do f**k all about it.

It has become such a crap program over bloated with button clicks to get between pages, print (5 clicks) that nothing is simple and swift anymore.

Since it went on-line is has got worse and they will never listen to the customer base. Ever

Why isn’t there a save button? Not a save and new. Not a save and close. Just a “save”

Thanks for sharing your concern here in the thread, @Notin2it. Let me chime in and share an insight about the Save button in QuickBooks Online.

I know the importance of only having the Save button in the option when creating a bank deposit. However, this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online.

In addition, the Save button is only available for transactions like invoices, estimates, and bills and not for bank deposits. With this, I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development team so they can add this feature for future product updates.

Here's how:

  1.  Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Type in your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

Also, you can track your request with this link: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, you can view this article to review your past bank deposits, remove a payment, or delete a bank deposit: Manage Bank Deposits.

You can also put your payments into the Undeposited Funds account to hold all the payments and group them in a single transaction.

Keep me posted if you have other questions about the Save button or other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'm here to provide help and assistance to your every concern. Take care, and have a wonderful day!
