Need to find a missing report

I cannot find this report anywhere in my list of reports, and it isn't even in the scheduled report center but it keeps trying to send a report. I don't ever receive a report when I close quickbooks and then click the continue button as per instruction on the pop up.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to delete a report that isn't in the report center?

Need to find a missing report

Hello, @3dsteel.

Let's first make sure to close all the company files in QuickBooks. Also, make sure that other users are not accessing other company files.

Here's how to close QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Choose Close Company.

Once completed, just make sure to access the company file that contains the report you're trying to send. Also, if you're under multi-user, you can turn it off then try to resend the report.

  1. Click File.
  2. Choose Utilities.
  3. Select Host Multi-User Access.
  4. Click Stop Hosting Multi-User Access to turn it off.

If the issue persists, let's run the Verify and Rebuild tool to fix any data-damage issues in your account. Also, this will help us locate your missing customized report.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Choose Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data.
  4. If QuickBooks detected no problems, there's no further action needed. If you receive a message, "Your data has lost integrity", the file is damaged.

Here's how you can Rebuild Data to correct the problem.

  1. Select the File menu.
  2. Pick Utilities.
  3. Choose Rebuild Data
  4. You'd be prompted to back up your company file, just click OK.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".
  6. Run Verify Data again to check for remaining data damage.

Need to find a missing report

I'll help you get this issue resolved, @3dsteel.

I've checked our records here. There's an open investigation about high UAC settings that is blocking scheduled report in QuickBooks Desktop. Rest assured, our software engineers are working hard to fix this problem as soon as they can.

I recommend reaching out to our Technical Support Team. This way, they can add you to the list of affected users and ensure that you'll get an update about the resolution status. You can provide this number for easy tracking: INV-12177.

Here's how to get in touch with a specialist:

  1. Click the Help menu and choose QuickBooks Desktop Help (F1).
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your questions or concerns, then click Let's talk.
  4. Choose either Start a chat or Get a callback.

If the same thing happens, you can manually run memorized reports and email it to your client. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Choose Memorized Reports and select Memorized Report List.
  3. Type the Report name.
  4. Click Display
  5. Click the E-mail drop-down arrow, choose either Send report as Excel or Send report as PDF.

You can check this article for more information about updating memorized reports: Create, access, and modify memorized reports

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you.

Need to find a missing report

LieraMarie_A;

Good to know that the UAC might be part of my problem, and I'll certainly get on that list of people to be notified. I cannot manually run that report because I do not have the ENTERPRISE program and I just dropped $300 to upgrade to 2020 Premier (which I had from 2017 with no problems).

As you can see from my photo, my report doesn't even show up anywhere EXCEPT for that pop-up. It is not listed in the memorized reports listing  to manually send it.

I am a single user on a single computer (not a network with multi users. It's just little old me.) I use windows 10 and have updated to the latest versions of QB.  I do the shut down every night with verify data and I have repaired and rebuilt over 5 times as well as using every option in the the tool box. I've had at least 4 tech support people helping me with a log in problem (which I'm still having BTW but I fix that by using end task in order to even get into my program every morning).

I'm a bit frustrated and disappointed right now, but since I just renewed the program I'll stick with it for a bit and hopefully things will clear up. If they were to ask me if I'd continue with QB, I'd have to think long and hard about it.
