I have converted to the new invoice template, however I can not figure out how to add times sales. previously there was an arrow in the upper right hand corner that could expand to show link expenses. The new template lists linked transactions but does not have my timed sales that was there before the conversion. How do I revert to old template or find my timed sales?
Welcome to the Community, McDConstruction. Let me share the details on adding the timed sales in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Please know we've been converting our users to the new invoice experience. Once you're accustomed to the modernized layout of invoicing, switching back to the old layout is not possible.
Furthermore, when creating an invoice in the new layout, you can view the linked transactions at the right panel. With this, kindly ensure that you're assigning the correct customer and turn on the Automatically Show suggested transaction option. You can do this by following the steps below:
After that, click on the X button, then refresh your website by clicking on the refresh button. Add your customer again, and the Suggested transactions will show up, including your time sales entries. Moreover, guarantee that the Filter option is set to all transactions and dates.
You can visit this link to learn more about the new updates with invoices and other sales forms in QBO.
After sending invoices to your customers, you have to receive their payments. To record them, refer to this article for guidance: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Hello Irene R. Your suggestion did not work. I've spend more than 1.5 hrs with a Intuit rep over the chat, cleaned the cache, used a different browser - the entries were not adding to the already created invoice. I had to delete the original invoice to add the new and old time entries. Something has been broken in a process, which used to be very simple.
Hello! Is there any update on the issue?
Thanks for getting back to this thread, Anya. I truly appreciate the effort you've put into troubleshooting the issue with the entries unable to be added to the invoice in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
