New vendor set up on July 1, 2017 for an invoice, but the bookkeeper at that time mistakenly input an opening balance for the vendor. Now GL AP doesn't match aging.

July 1 is first day of fiscal period.  By entering the opening balance it changed AP opening balance for that year so now ending balance for prev FY doesn't match opening bal for this FY.  Tried JE but that messed up aging report.

Try going to the Chart of Accounts / Accounts Payable / Register / and navigate to the original 7/1/17 journal entry transaction that was created with the vendor setup opening balance, then change the amount to zero, save and close.
