Buy nowNo new transactions available and the "click here" link is broken. I know this has been an issue in the past, however now discussions on this also seem to have been deleted from here. I understand it has something to do with multiple downloads, but if I can't find the information in the register or anywhere else, giving an error msg with no solution isn't very helpful. Please advise. (downloaded QBO bank file and want to import it into the check register)
Hello there, @sheelsells.
I appreciate the things you've done. I know how this process takes time when you're unable to download bank transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO). We'd want to make sure that we get this sorted out.
To start, I recommend updating your bank manually in the system to refresh its connection.
To do that:
Then, we can proceed to import the QBO file:
If you see an error when disconnecting an account, here's how to fix Bank Feed errors.
In the meantime, let me give you these articles that can serve as an additional guide when working in the Bank Feeds section:
Please know that we're always here if you have additional questions about your bank transactions. We're always here to help.
1. I had previously disconnected any bank feeds.
2. I wanted the solution for the error of "no new transactions available" - the directions were for the normal import, not what happens when there is an error msg that has a broken link in it. (I had previously downloaded the time period, but it didn't upload to the register, so after attempting again, I understand that the system somehow thinks it's protecting itself for duplicates, but the data is no where in the system, so how do I resolve this without hand entering all the data?)
3. I was looking for the reason the import no longer goes right into the register to work with vs "transaction list" for unneccesary additional steps in the process?
4. I have also selected the classic mode for Bank feed modes.
All I want to do is download from my bank - not auto - to a qbo file and import directly to the register. This didn't used to be an issue. I could have hand entered the entire years data in the time I have attempted to get this resolved, there is no value to downloads or this program any longer if I am just going to enter every detail manually.
Hi, @sheelasells.
Thank you for sharing additional details when trying to import your bank transactions. It's my priority to help you bring them to QuickBooks successfully and fix the error.
You should be able to bring your bank data to QuickBooks using the Web Connect process. However, the no new transactions error can happen when:
Since you've downloaded the file with the same period previously but aren't uploaded it on your register, you might need to create a new bank account to isolate the issue, then upload your file from there.
Once the file is uploaded to the new account, merge it to your existing account to transfer the transactions.
If the solution doesn't work, I suggest updating your QBDT to keep your software updated and fix common errors. You can also use the QuickBooks Tool Hub to narrow down the result. See these links as your guide:
Once the transactions are available on your account, review and categorize the entries.

I'm unable to figure out what to do when I get this error trying to import new credit card transactions. I have tried deleting the connection and reestablishing it, creating a new account in my chart of accounts to transfer to, my quickbooks desktop is updated.
Hi there, @Donsbs.
I understand how challenging it is to troubleshoot the error when importing your new credit card transaction to QuickBooks Desktop. Please know that I'm here to ensure you can import your transactions to QBDT efficiently.
Since you have already updated your QBDT to the latest version, we can proceed to shift your banking mode to Classic Mode. This method allows you to add or match transactions using the account register. You can also create aliases for matching names exactly.
Here's how:
After switching to Classic Mode, you can now download your credit card transactions. If the same error shows, you can repeat the steps above but select Express Mode.
Moreover, you can also download your transactions directly from your bank's website and import them to QuickBooks Desktop. First, go to your bank's website, download and save the .QBO file to your local files.
Open your QuickBooks Desktop and follow these steps:
After that, you can consider creating rules to categorize your transactions in QuickBooks Desktop and reconcile them to match them with your QBDT records.
You're always welcome to post here on the Community page if you have further concerns about importing transactions to QBDT. I'd gladly help you anytime.
