I'm here to help share information on how to fix your reports that are off in QuickBooks.
Yes, you can keep an invoice and perform the clear cache option. Before doing so, when you run the report, ensure that the reporting dates are correct and your accounting method. However, if they're set up correctly it could be that the stored cache and cookies in the browser are the root cause of why the totals are off. You can open the report using an incognito or private window. Here are the shortcut keys:
- Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
- Command + Shift + N for Safari
If the totals are now balanced, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to enhance your browsing experience. You can also switch to other supported browsers as an alternative.
