Packing Slips used to display "custom fields" as long as the show on sales receipts checkbox was checked. Not it is not printing anymore. I need PO numbers on Packing S

I contacted C/S and was basically told that the Packing Slips are not customizable and include the information they deem necessary for typical business transactions. So, why does Quickbooks not have a field for PO numbers. Tell me what business that utilizes the use of PO's and requires them on incoming paperwork. So now I have to handwrite that on every Packing Slip. This used to work and all of the sudden it doesn't anymore.

Hello, @whaley

I can see how putting purchase order numbers on the packing slip would be beneficial for your business. At this time, there isn't a way to customize the packing slip in QuickBooks Online. The only forms that you can customize are invoices, estimates, and sales receipts

However, I'll send feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in one of the upcoming updates for QuickBooks. You can check out our QuickBooks blog to see what's new in the product.

Wishing you and your business continued success. Take care!

This isn't something new....this always was a feature up until just very recently.  On the Customs Fields tab, if the checkbox "Use on Sales Forms" AND "Show to Customer" was checked, that information came through on the Packing Slip also.  This is a very pertinent piece of information on business paperwork.  For many of our customers, the PO states if the PO number is not on all paperwork, the invoice will not be paid.  The purpose of a PO is to reference a particular order all the way through the order/receiving/reconciliation process.  I cannot be the only person who is in need of this information.   So frustrating.
