Paid Invoices no longer marked as paid

Hello - I'm working on QuickBooks 2019 for Mac (V18.0.14 R15) and no longer see the large "Paid" stamp on any of the invoices in my records.  It's as if a recent update simply cleared everything off.  No fine tuning done on my end.  I'm at a complete loss...and it's a complete mess.  Any advice please?

We can use the verify and rebuild data tools to fix this issue. The verify tool checks for damaged data in your company file. Then, the rebuild tool repairs any issues found. This process refreshes your QuickBooks file.

Here's how to verify your company file data:

 

  1. Navigate to the File menu.
  2. Choose Utilities, then select Verify Data.
  3. Click OK to close all windows.

 

If you see "Your data has failed the integrity check," you must rebuild your file. Otherwise, you're done.

 

Then, rebuild the company file to correct errors or data damage. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the File menu, then choose Utilities.
  2. Select Rebuild Data, then tap on OK to close all windows.
  3. QuickBooks will prompt you to do a backup before rebuilding your company file, select OK.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to proceed.
  5. Click OK once the rebuild is finished.

So it did the Verify and Rebuild function with no errors found.  Problem remains.  I clicked on the repairing QBDT Mac: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file mentioned above but didn't see any other steps to try?

Unfortunately, the uninstall and reinstall didn't do it either.  Still no "paid" stamp on any of my invoices.

Since you're still unable to see the paid stamp on your paid invoices, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Team. They can check your account to help diagnose the issue and provide you with other troubleshooting steps to fix it. 

 

Here's how to connect with them:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue and select Continue.
  5. Sign in to your Intuit account, then click Continue and select Continue with my account.
  6. We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and click Continue.
  7. Select to chat with us or Have us call you.

 

Moreover, you can turn on electronic payments in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac so your customers can pay you online. This way, they can easily pay their invoices through credit card or bank transfer.
