Paying down credit card recurring payment

Hello everyone.  I have a monthly credit card payment that I need to make.  I usually make it in full.  I use the Paying down credit card option from the new button.  I would like to set this up as a recurring payment but I don't see the paying down credit card option.  How would I do this with the recurring payment option?

Thank

Paying down credit card recurring payment

Let me help share insights about the recurring transactions function, dennishouse.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can create templates for recurring transactions, such as recurring expenses. This applies to all transactions except time entries, customer payments, and bill payments.

We consider our customers' ideas and suggestions to improve the product. This will help determine the feature we'll have to include in future updates. You can send feedback about adding recurring credit card payments directly to our product engineers.

Here's how:

  1. In your company, go to the Gear icon in the upper right and choose Feedback under Profile
  2. Enter your comments and product suggestions in the field box.
  3. Click Next to submit.

For more in-depth information about the recurring transactions feature, click here to access the article. There, you'll learn how to control the entry, set the type, and use it.

I've included some resources that tackle tracking credit card payments from your customers and expenses:

Thanks for this however it seems like you have noted that you don't have a solution so you are recommending that I make this recommendation to intuit.  Is this correct?

I suspect that there is another way to use the recurring transactions to do what I need despite there not being a bill pay feature.  So if someone else could help me I would appreciate it.

P.S.  Is there a way to mark your suggestion as not an answer?
