I know that having the ability to personalize the PDF file names of your invoices would be valuable for you and other businesses. However, this feature is not currently available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). While this option isn't available yet, I suggest providing feedback to our Product Engineers. This will allow them to review your suggestions and potentially incorporate them into our future product updates.

To submit feedback, you can access the Help menu on your QBDT account and select Send Feedback Online.

Customization of the pdf files is very important. For example, quick books has the same exact name for all the pay slips and you have to change the name, ideally by adding the employee name to the file, for every single download to keep track of the files! This is a time consuming task and we expect QuickBooks to fixe this simply by adding the employee name to the file.
