Are there any apps/techniques to produce "presentation" quality financial statements from QBO?
The apps I looked at seem to be more for data slicing & dicing rather than just the basic financials. What I mean by "presentation" quality is a more standard looking financial statement that you would find for presenting to a bank or a management team. I understand that QB financials are very much in use and used, but sometimes you just need a more formal presentation.
Thank you!!

I can provide an app to produce presentation quality financial statements, Michael1537.
QuickBooks Online offers several applications to help organize your financial statements and reports.
One of the apps that is already integrated with QuickBooks is Syft. It's an award-winning financial reporting and analytics app that allows accountants and businesses to easily create beautiful financial reports and insights.
You can also look for Spotlight Reporting and eClientLink Custom Reports for QuickBooks. They're both designed for accountants to have a deeper insight and clarity for better decision making, there are no better reporting solutions available.
I also suggest checking out the tip from a CEO of Quick Bookkeeping and one of our top 100 ProAdvisor for creating organized financial statements.

Hi MaryLandT,
I think I marked this "solved" a bit too early and...maybe I'm not making my self clear.
All the solutions that I'm seeing in the App Store are more MANAGEMENT reports versus the standard financials (Balance Sheet and P&L, sometimes a Cash Flow Statement). And what I mean by a "professional" presentation is in a format the one might normally see in CPA compilation,/review/audit.
The "problem"...if that's the right word...with QB's financials is simply the layout, spacing, lines, etc.
I know I can "customize" the form a bit, but in order to get a good professional looking financial statement (as differentiated from a management report) it seems I'll have to manipulate it in Excel.
If that's the case, I would encourage the QB team to either re-design the financials or at least have an option for and "accountant's version" of the financials...I'd be happy to discuss a good layout for this option if QB desires to pursue it. I'm sure many QB folks would be happy to see this...
I am also looking for a way to create quality financial statements in QBO. I also have to manipulate reports created in QBO. See Michael1537's reply.
I also need a way to prepare quality financial statement and have not found a way to do so without having to manipulate reports from QBO. Has this issue been resolved?
Thanks for joining in this thread, @Kathy1000.
As of this moment, the option to change the financial statement's layout is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
For now, you can customize your reports by using the filters and other customization tools available in QuickBooks. You can use the Customize settings to show specific accounts or customers, or format things just the way you want them.
I can see how this option would be helpful for you and your business. Therefore, let me take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.
