I made a NEW QB Mac 2019 desktop company Jan 1st. I brought old accounts and lists from the OLD company. All seems to be OK except that in the Profit and Loss report the numerical accounts are out of order... 4240, 4005, 4007, 4080, 4040, ...
I know there is a quick fix for this problem. Does anyone know the trick? Julie

To fix the problem, you have to resort the list of your accounts in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Here's how:
Once completed run your Profit and Loss report and your accounts will now be arranged in the correct numerical order.

Hi Angela,
I'm on QBO Advanced but don't seem to have that option. Am I able to set up the P&L in account number order?
