Profit and loss account numerical order

To fix the problem, you have to resort  the list of your accounts in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Here's how:

1. Open your QuickBooks, then go to the Lists menu.
2. Select Chart of Accounts from the drop-down.
3. From your Chart of Accounts, click on the Edit menu, then tap on the Re-sort List tab.
4. Click OK to confirm the action.

Once completed run your Profit and Loss report and your accounts will now be arranged in the correct numerical order.
