I can help you show active items on your report, @jdrichardson.
By utilizing the Show non-zero or active only drop-down, you can show the active items not any other listed in the chart of accounts you see in your Budget vs. Actual P&L report.
Let me show you how:
- Click the Search icon from the top right.
- Type budget and then select Budget vs. Actual.
- Click the Show non-zero or active only drop-down.
- From the Show Rows section, tick the Active radio button and then tick the Non-zero radio button from the Show columns section.
- Click Run report.
Alternatively, you can use the Customize button to show specific categories or accounts in the Budget vs. Actual report. All you have to do is scroll sidewards and click the Customize button. Go to the Filter section and choose the accounts or categories in the Account drop-down that you want to see on the report.
